Chef Gayle has enjoyed cooking all her life, from baking with her mother as a child to preparing meals for family to entertaining friends with gourmet wine dinners. It’s a time to relax, to try out a new technique, test a different combination of flavors…but most of all, it’s a time to share a passion for food with those whom she loves.
Apart from learning from her mother, an excellent cook, and “learning by doing”, Chef Gayle has spent a year and a half in culinary school, rounding out her culinary expertise. She is also certified in food safety through the ServSafe course.
A degreed church musician, Chef Gayle decided to turn her love of cooking into a service for others, including those whose busy lives prevent them from enjoying healthy home-prepared meals with family; those who need to follow special diets but also want flavorful food; and those who are unable, for whatever reason, to prepare meals themselves.
Chef Gayle’s philosophy about food is that nutritious does not have to be bland, and good taste does not have to mean laden with fat, sodium, and sugar. She uses herbs, spices, and the freshest ingredients available to prepare healthy food that is pleasing to the palate. She welcomes the opportunity to bring good food to your table.
